    Hello everyone! Today’s brand is ANAP! ANAP opened its first store in Harajuku in 1992. Described as a brand for everyone, but was, and still is, particularly popular with, of course, gals! In 2002, they opened their online website/shop, which hosted these truly iconic postcards. Here are some of my favorites: 

    These outfits truly scream cool girl. During this time, it was popular to wear clothing that was considered “sexy,” as ANAP’s website described. In 2007, ANAP held a large-scale promotional event called ANAP night at the well-known club ageHa in Tokyo to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the brand and the 5th anniversary of their online shop. The event had HASEBE, TAKKY, SACHIHO, and BENKAY as DJs at the Water Bar, as well as live music performed by ZEEBRA, KM-MARKIT, SOULHEAD, nobodyknows＋, May J., and CEYREN. 

    There was also a fashion show that was bizarrely in collaboration with the 2007 American dance drama movie "STOMP THE YARD". Why? I'm not sure, but the winner's name was STOMP THE YARD Queen and that's pretty cunty. 

    Around the 2010s, ANAP’s style was bold, flashy, and colorful! Well, it always was, but it was particularly so in this era. When I showed my sister pictures from this era, she said that they reminded her of the early 2010s Korean idol groups’ outfits. I can't really disagree lol.

   Currently, ANAP is still making casual wear, albeit in a different style, and it also now produces hair dye!
